The importance of memory as a tool for navigating turbulence period that may tend to stop us or deter us in making progress. Drawing from different lessons of history and yesterday is an important and necessary method for thriving easily than when one cannot make use of any precedence. Memory is powerful, it is strong to the extent that we can personify this process in such a way that it becomes, not just a remembrance but a potent energy which has a unique utility of its own. We should never forget, even when it is painful, even when it is hurting, but we should work on healing the painful past and building on the glorious history. The strength of an elder is memory, without which society cannot thrive.  Life has a sort of repetitiveness to it such that he who fails to learn from history is destined to repeat it. But the past moves and does not happen exactly the same, that is why man should beware of repeating ‘the good old days. We need to heal the past and purify it , but it is great misgiving to admonish forgetfulness. The past need to be addressed, confronted, fostered, celebrated, but never forgotten.
