The way up is down. We must stoop to conquer. In this age of struggling for stardom, the freedom that is derived from lowliness and not being regarded is long lasting. Authentic Leadership comes with so much responsibilities in this age that we should not be so much in a hurry to be noticed. Waiting is tough, but it is within this patience that one builds strength to thrive. There is so much to learn and to master that we must develop the work which allows us to take roots before coming out as established. Revel in being unknown but begin with the end in mind. But this stooping should not be taken for cowardice or a means where we lack confidence. Followership must be mastered but not to the detriment of confidence. Stay down to learn and be educated and to master the art of thriving when the time comes. Look up, have a readied destination in view, have a clear vision and do not be cowed, refuse to be intimidated, and do not let the tyranny of the domain bully you into a place where you would rather not be. It takes toughness to move up the ladder of the hierarchy and the longer you stay low without a game plan, the longer you would be low and the more impossible it would be without a clear set of goals. Respect, be humble, do not envy, but be focused. Bid your time!
